Golar LNG Limited (NDAQ: GLNG) shares soared after receiving a recommendation on CNBC's Fast Money. Karen Finerman recommended the stock based on the strength in the liquid natural gas sector as well as a cheap valuation of just 16.46x earnings even after today's strong move upwards.

Golar LNG Limited is engaged in the acquisition, ownership, operation and chartering of liquid natural gas (LNG) carriers and floating storage re-gasification units (FSRUs) through its subsidiaries. The company's fleet consists of 13 vessels- either leased under long-term financial leases, four owned vessels and one join partnership.

Shares of Golar LNG Limited moved up $0.98, or 6.5%, to $16.50 on the day.
